DEAR PASTOR,
How are you doing? I hope you are O.K. My mother buys THE STAR every day and I read everything, including your column. I am 11 years old and I would like to know my father.
When my friends at school and my neighbour talk about their fathers, I feel very bad and left out. I do not want anything from him because my mother takes care of me. I just need to know my father and to talk with him.
My mother told me that when I was born he was living in Gregory Park with his relatives. Then he moved to Job Lane in Spanish Town when I was about one year old. My mother told me that my father left Spanish Town and went back to St. Mary to live. He is from Gayle in St. Mary. His name is Radcliffe Richards, but everyone call him Richie. The both of us share the same birthday. We were born on April 15.
Pastor, I really need to know my father. We have so many things to talk about. If anyone who knows him sees this letter, tell him to get in touch with the pastor. I really need to know him. Thank you.
R.R., St. Catherine, Jamaica
Dear R.R
I am glad that you read the STAR newspaper. I hope that through this medium you will be able to locate your father.
