Fuller stays on target

LONDON, ENGLAND, CMC

REGGAE BOY RICARDO Fuller extended his fine form in the English Championship with another goal for Southampton, to lead a quartet of Caribbean players finding the nets in the United Kingdom on Saturday.

The 26-year-old striker pounced on a rebound to open Southampton's account in the 37th minute and Richard Chaplow added a second in the 63rd, as Southampton cruised past Brighton 2-0.

It was Fuller's third goal in two games after his double against Cardiff last week.

Trinidad and Tobago's top marksman Stern John continued his warm-up for June's World Cup in Germany as he scored to help secure Coventry City a 2-2 draw against Wolverhampton Wanderers also in the Championship.

Former England international Paul Ince scored after two minutes and Colin Cameron netted in the 22nd minute to give Wolves a 2-0 lead but John's header pulled one back for Coventry before Gary McSheffrey equalized after 60 minutes with a brilliant free kick.
