Boys' Town's Andrew Price - WINSTON SILL
ANDREW PRICE, BRAND and communications manager at Wray & Nephew and chairman of the Jamaica Football Federation technical committee, describes himself as a a lover of reggae in its purest form. He said although he loves all forms of music, it is reggae that ranks as his number one musical genre.
Price explains that he likes all of Bob Marley's material and as such it was no surprise that there are two Bob Marley in his top five musical picks.
So, here are his top five picks.
Solidarity - Black Uhuru
It's a chant and song for the oppressed. I like songs that speak for the oppressed.
Africa Unite - Bob Marley
What is going is that a lot of African nations are in anarchy. It's a land that is full of potential but because of abuse it is yet to realise its power. The song basically speaks to need for unity on the continent.
One Love - Bob Marley It speaks to the fact that if the world could live as one what a beautiful place it would be.
Not an Easy Road - Buju Banton I think it's an inspiring song that calls on people to keep their eyes on the prize despite the challenges they may face.
Welcome to Jamrock -Damian 'Junior Gong' Marley
It puts a reality spin on what is happening in Jamaica, especially the line that says "Sandals a nuh Backto". It shows that there is another side to Jamaica which needs to be fixed.
