RED STRIPE CHAMPIONS' Cup title-holders Portmore United will meet Tivoli Gardens in Sunday's final after both registered semi-final wins at the National Stadium last night.

Tivoli, playing in the opening match, had to come from behind against Arnett Gardens to pull off a hard fought 3-2 extra-time victory.

Later in the evening, Portmore beat nine-man Waterhouse 3-1 after Lance DaCosta and Irvino English were both sent packing for two bookable offences in the second half.

Jonathan Williams got the ball rolling for Arnett, heading home a Gerald Neil Cross in the fourth minute.

The score was levelled in the 33rd minute when Horace Howell slammed his close-range shot off the crossbar and into goal.

It took extra-time to break the deadlock after that when sub-stitute Nicholas McCreath headed home a 102nd minute corner from Christopher Jackson.

With Arnett still fighting, Jer-maine Taylor tapped home from a free-kick in the 112th.

Arnett wouldn't go away though and made the game interesting in the dying moments when Williams was again on target with a header in the 118th minute of play, making the score 3-2.

"I think we should have won the game from regulation time and we've been haunted by this all season, not putting away the goals," said Tivoli's coach Glendon 'Admiral' Bailey.

In the Portmore encounter, the defending Champions always led, scoring through Kevin Deerr in the 21st, Jason Morrison in the 49th and Kemeel Wolfe in time added on.

Waterhouse equalised in the 32nd minute through Demar Phillips but they weren't really a threat after DaCosta and English were sent to early showers.

"Our team stuck to the task and it's a fair result," said Portmore coach Paul young adding that Waterhouse gave a spirited effort.
