How did you get started in the business?
To tell the truth, me just love music and me decide seh ah dis me waan do. Cause even from me small and me grandmother used to carry me go church every Sunday, and ah really she make me hold my first mic and seh 'sing'. But it always just a fun thing. Then when me get big and the people dem love it, me start take it serious. So we just link up with Killer and him buss we.
What has been your greatest challenge in the business yet?
To tell you the truth, right now, I don't have no great, great challenge. Me just start the work and a try get out deh, so me just a gwaan mek more music and when the real challenge come we will be able to overcome it.
What have you been up to
lately?
Right now is just some whole heap of singles. Like last night (Tuesday) me voice a song fi DJ Liquid label and right now I am voicing another one for Wayne Wonder label.
Do you look up to any specific artiste?
Bounty Killer; yeah Killer ah me idol.
Are you happy with the way things are going for your career right now?
Right now, throughout my career, we happy fi di love wha people ah show, so me haffi gwaan give thanks.
Anything you'd like to change about it?
Nothing naw change. Is just gangsta fi life ... always the same.
What are your future plans?
Right now I have a whole heap of things planned. Like right now me want fi work toward me album, so my management a look about that right now. And yuh done know say is a lot of work, cause you will all make 100 song and them say only five sound like it can go pon the album.
Do you have any advice for young artistes coming up?
All me can say to the young artiste them is, believe in yourself. Don't stop what you love doing and let people discourage you. Like all me, if me did stop I wouldn't be here right now, saying gangsta ... Still not because some man hear we say gangsta mean crime. Me just want the man dem fi cool off the whole heap of crime. Though them hear we say "gangsta fi life" dem say "yuh hear him say it", but dem ah nuh real gangsta or man if them ah go do them ting deh. Real man naw do dem thing deh. So me just want tell them fi live up and rise to the occasion.
