FORMER WORLD INDOOR hurdles champion Terrence Trammell leads a 51-member U.S. team heading to Moscow for the March 10-12 IAAF world indoor championships, USA Track and Field announced on Thursday.
The 2001 world indoor 60 metres hurdles winner, who has the year's fastest time of 7.46 seconds, will also run the 60 metres flat sprint in Russia.
The twice Olympic 110 metres hurdles silver medallist will be joined on the U.S. team by world outdoor champions Walter Davis (triple jump) and Bryan Clay (decathlon).
Clay will participate in the heptathlon.
The Americans also will feature 2004 world indoor shot put champion Christian Cantwell and five men with the year's top performances -- Trammell, 60 metres sprinter Leonard Scott, 400 metres runner Milton Campbell, pole vaulter Jeff Hartwig and shot putter Reese Hoffa.
U.S. champion Lisa Barber and world 100 metres gold medallist Lauryn Williams headline the U.S. women's team.
Both will run the 60 metres.
World outdoor long jump champion Tianna Madison also will compete for the American women.
