God's Favour.

Special guest Stephen Simpson leads the selection Be like Him (Kwaze Kwabona kala) during 'God's Favour in Concert' Gospel show held at the Power of Faith Ministries in the Portmore Town Centre on Friday February 24.
GOD'S FAVOUR, A chorale from Power of Faith Ministries, moved their ministry to another level, as they hosted their first concert at their sanctuary in the Portmore Town Centre two Fridays ago.
In a free concert packed with believers and unsaved souls, friends of God's Favour complimented the group with their version of ministry.
God's Favour's entrance on stage was with a lot of star status. The stage lights were turned off and the announcer called each persons name as they came on stage.
God's Favour's first selection was Hosanna as they were led by special guest Dwayne Kidd. Group leader Arrianne Prawl soon joined the group on stage.
Prawl and Jannelle Pitter played lead roles on the selection We Offer You Praise while a trio of young ladies with colourful ribbons danced and executed sign language at the edge of the platform.
Later, a former group member and special guest Stephen Simpson, joined them as he led the selection of African background Be Like Him (Kwaze Kwabona kala). The chorale then switched to Ole Time Negro Spirituals, and performed a medley of songs such as Lily In The Valley, Look Where He's Brought Me From, I Feel Like Praising Him, Come On In The Room, I Love The Lord and Centre Of My Joy also led by Arrianne Prawl.
GOSPEL HITS
There was another shift in selection as they then went into Jamaican Gospel hits. These included hits such as Only Jesus - led by Neikalyn Stephenson & Jannelle Pitter, My Daddy Oh led by Melissa Morrison, Holy Ghost Church led by Tanya Cole, Cumba-ya Lord led by Neikalyn Stephenson and Hold on Pon Yuh Victory led by Naomi Dawkins.
Meanwhile the event kicked off with a solid 30-minute praise and worship segment with the anointed worship singer Jermaine Edwards. The singer of the hit song Island Worship, did songs such as Lord I Lift You're Name On High and a medley of old time church choruses such as I Wanna Thank You Lord, Amazing Grace, Blessed Assurance, Jesus Jesus Jesus and closed off with his hit song from his new album You Deserve All The Glory.
In-depth Singers were next on stage, they first did the Grace Thrillers hit That's How Strong God's Love Is before venturing into Healing originally done by Richard Smallwood.
Voices of Faith came next and did Holiness Is What I Long For. They made way for Gospel group Fountain of Love. The male trio harmonised I Sing Because I'm Happy, to a thrilling round of applause. As things heated up Voices of Praise sang We have Anchor a lively set that brought the audience to their feet.
