FRIDAY AFTERNOON'S TWIN of Twins talent search proved the island is bursting at the seams with upcoming talent.
More than 40 people turned out to display their talent in rhymes - some of which the audience could have done without - and, for the most part, they impressed those in attendance. Most of the aspiring artistes were young men who sang about how well endowed they were and that they wouldn't be giving any money if they were not getting the 'goods' first.
After eliminating most of the contestants who failed to impress the STAR judges, the final eight were split into two groups and competed against each other to win. It was a difficult task to choose two singers and two deejays from the lot because the contestants were above average in lyrics and 'riding the rhythms'.
The contestants were kept in suspense for the weekend about who the winners were. But today four people can uncross their fingers. The winners are: Godrey Williams, Remore Ibar, Nemario 'Wiggle T' Campbell and Winston 'Shades' Hibbert.
The winners get the chance to work with the twins and perform alongside the other four semi-finalists at the twins' album launch on March 11.
