Ardenne, Campion for schools chess final

ARDENNE HIGH AND Campion College will contest the final of the 2005/2006 LASCO/RBTT National Schools Chess Championship, scheduled to take place on Saturday, February 25, at the RBTT Bank Headquarters in New Kingston.

In the semi-finals which took place on Saturday at RBTT Bank, Ardenne turned back Wolmer's Boys (3.5-.5), while Campion got past Glenmuir B (3-1).

Ardenne, who are seeking their first hold on the National Schools Chess title, start as favourites against five-time champions Campion, who will be seeking a record sixth hold on the national title.
