SUNSHINE JERK CENTRE in Portmore, St Catherine, continues to satisfy the appetites of patrons who flock to it for their favourite jerk products.
The Centre is located along the Newland main road in Portmore and according to the proprietor, Courtney Ramsay, after opening the business in 2003, he has not looked back and continues to get rave reviews from patrons.
"The business has grown with the customers who travel from far and wide to satisfy their tastebuds and it's pleasing to serve them," remarked Ramsay.
MEALS SERVED
Some of the scrumptious meals served at the establishment are: jerk chicken, pork, fish, conch,Lobster, sausages and beef. Ramsay, a 14-year veteran in the kitchen said that aside from jerk, there is the regular rice and peas with tofu and other meats such as chicken and fish which are not jerked.
He said that customers continue to encourage him and that feels better than even the money they spend.
"Yes man, Sunshine Jerk a the big thing round here. Courtney and him crew know how to deal with the food thing man," remarked Natalie, while eating a piece of jerk pork.
Other patrons at the restaurant who spoke with THE STAR choed similar sentiments.
Ramsay said that his business will continue to expand as it has now taken on board the delivery of food to several establishments throughout the 'Sunshine City' as the business is about keeping the customers happy through service.
