RUMOURS THAT 'ONE Order' leader, Andrew 'Bun Man' Hope was murdered by 'men dressed as schoolers' were somewhat confirmed on Wednesday by Police High Command.
A Constabulary Communication Network release said, "Initial but unconfirmed reports suggest that men dressed in khaki clothes murdered Hope ... "
Residents concluded that the 'don' was killed by police and one woman was sharply reprimanded by a mob, which congregated at Ellis Street shortly after the killing, when she disagreed with the crowd and said that she did not believe police were responsible.
The woman was immediately cursed by other persons and subsequently made a hasty retreat. Before she left though, the very same woman was heard contradicting herself, and cursing the police for murder.
Since then, no more was heard of the-men-dressed-as-schoolers theory until investigations from the Police High Command brought similar conclusions.
Just like the Police High Command, high-ranking members of 'One Order' have conducted their own 'inquiry' into the matter. "Wi fin out di full undred pon it ... A police use a gal an set him up! People see di police dem drive up in a white car, an step out dress up ina school uniform ... One stan up pon him side a talk to him, an one nex one sneak roun di nex side an dun him," said a member.
Hope's family are not sure who killed him, but say one of his cellphones was taken by police to analyse calls received, indicating that he might have indeed been 'set up.'
Since Hope's death there has been sporadic gunfire and constant blocking of roads in the capital. Even residents of 'Clansman'- aligned territory, Rivoli, allegedly blocked roads, in protest of the conduct of police in Spanish Town.
Surprisingly though, residents of the Tawes Pen area (Hope's stronghold), have cleared their blockages, saying disrupting the capital will not bring back their don. "Him dead an who kill him caaa get we, but blocking we road whe everybody use nah bring back di boss," said a Tawes Pen resident.
