Why God, why?

Dear Pastor,

I do have a problem. Actually, it is more a question. Why does God allow black people to suffer and in particular children from Africa who die every three seconds from hunger.

My question is why does God allow this?

G. X.

Dear G. X.,

Please bear in mind that I am not God. There are some questions that no one but God can answer. It is not only black people who suffer daily. Don't you see what is happening around the world? People are suffering from the effects of earthquakes, tsunamis, flooding, hurricanes, etc. Who has the answers to these problems?

No one.

Some of our African leaders have brought untold suffering to their own people. Have you considered that?

Pastor
