Fear is not of God

Dear Pastor,

I have a problem that I can't control. I've seen a lot of things happening, people getting their faces shot off and crazy things that I can't even explain myself. I have been through a lot myself, court case, plastic surgery, etc..

My life is clear now, but I can't sleep without taking sleeping pills. I feel death is getting closer to me everyday. I sleep with my gun. Wherever I go, I am always strapped with my gun because I think someone is out to get me.

I am ready to die, but am concerned about my soul.

Dear Toxic,

I believe that you ought to seek the help of a psychologist. He/she would help you to deal with your fears and concerns. I would also like to encourage you to go to church, pray and to read your Bible everyday. If you are really interested in your soul, read the first three chapters of John's gospel. Meditate much on the event of Nicodemus meeting Jesus and what Jesus said to him about the new birth.
