Kippo's fashion 'outta road'

Kiprich

WHEN THE STAR artiste of the month, Kiprich takes any stage, he not only commands the attention of his fans via his energy and lyrical rhymes, but also his mode of dress.

At the recently held launch party for his debut album, Outta Road, Kiprich, so accustomed to the high profile and flossing, made his grand entry before the flashing cameras.

Clad in his designer shades, brown, pin stripe, jacket with matching under shirt and tailored pants, Kiprich was dressed for the occasion.

"Da suit deh is a brown suit, brown a gwaan yah now fi di likkle time, but is a new designer jacket weh dem have a New York yah now, wid di hoody build on to the jacket. Is a cross look, rough but smooth look. Mi did inna one brown pants to an mi shades, mi nuh memba if a di Gucci one mi did inna," Kippo said, while trying to recall his outfit on the night of his album launch at the Asylum.

Kiprich, however, said the occasion determined the attire.

"It depends pon di occasion. Well seh is a regular party, mi a gi dem a cool vibes, yuh know, but if wi a do show like Sumfest or a Sting, big major show, wi a guh all out, mek yuh dressing mek a statement. People love si when you as an artiste put yuhself together properly, an some even try pattern yuh, suh yuh caan dress regula, or people a guh look pon yuh a way," he said. "Wi have special designers as well, weh wi tell dem seh wi waan dis da way yah...if yuh waan set trend yuh haffi different," he said.
