Say it in a letter

AFTER HIS GIRLFRIEND took away his phone in Telephone Ting, Kiprich turned to the pen and paper to talk to his other girls in 'Letter'.

In times of trouble, Kiprich went back to basics. "Being as mi ah seh di phone mash up mi life, the only ting me ah see is the letter, taking it back to basics," said Kiprich.

As an artiste, Kiprich strives to entertain the masses, with his talent. "Is entertainment, the people love both versions," said Kiprich.

The 'telephone ting' also summoned another artiste to the fore. Lady G released two songs, Woman's Intuition and Return Sender, in response to the issues in Kiprich's songs.

"Kiprich was only talking on behalf of the men. I think it was fair for me to talk on behalf of the women," said Lady G.

CAUGHT

Lady G says the issues raised in Letter shows how men respond to being caught. "When he came out with part two, he was highlighting how typical men would behave. After them get into one problem, dem mek it seem like dem change. But dem really just find another way to do dem ting," said Lady G, with a laugh.

At the end of the day, Lady G had good things to say about Kiprich."I think Kiprich is definitely a talented artiste, he is really creative," commented Lady G.

Equally, Kiprich had nothing but respect for Lady G, and admired her for her creativity. "Mi rate di vibe, she a show some creativity. Mi rate da vibe deh," said Kiprich.

The listeners, however had their own opinion on the songs. "I was very upset with Kiprich when he came out with Telephone Ting, because he is promoting cheating, which I don't agree with. But when he came out with Letter, I thought it was funny, and I couldn't help laughing," said Aneisha.

BUN NUH NICE

Anna loved Lady G's songs and thinks it was good that someone rebutted Telephone Ting and Letter. "I love Lady G's songs, I agree with her 100 per cent. The girlfriend has all the right to get upset because bun is not a nice thing," she said.

However, the men supported the songs done by Kiprich. "How yuh mean, wah she a search the man phone fah? She know how phone buy? A natural ting fi man flirt, yes, and if the girl a sen' dem kind a text deh, wah him fi do, seh no?" said Anthony.

Another listener, Kirk stood on the safe side. "Well I don't really agree with the bun ting still, cause yuh nuh know wah a go round these days. Mi love Lady G version still, it really good enuh. Is like she a tell the ladies dem side," said Kirk.

The songs have been heavily rotated on the air waves and are usually played one after the other.
