Dear Pastor,
I would like to congratulate you on a job well done, but I have a problem and would like to see if you could make a good suggestion on this problem that has been bothering my mind. Last year my daughter was taken away from me because she ran away from my home and was placed in a girls' home but instead of her getting better, the problem got worse. She keeps running away more often and when I went back to court and asked them to let her come back to me, they refused.
In between her running she has been with older men. The second to last time she ran away from the girls' home, she was on the road for approximately six weeks. I could not eat, sleep or do anything so I went to look for her myself. All this time the authorities weren't looking for her. I found her on the road in a motorcade and I cleaned her up and sent her to Jamaica with one of my friends. The social worker found out and I was arrested and charged and am now going to court for trying to protect my own child. She was only 13 years old at the time.
QUESTIONABLE ACTION
I'm frustrated and at the same time confused that they would want to charge me for trying to protect my child from all the diseases going around. Please I'm asking for a response from you as soon as possible.

Dear M. J.,
I understand the predicament in which you have found yourself. You wanted to protect your daughter, but as I see it, you went about it the wrong way. I don't understand why you believe that by sending her to Jamaica, she would be protected. I'm really sorry for what has happened to you. I am sure that your daughter needs psychological care. I hope that the court will be lenient. Make sure you are represented by a lawyer.
