Married man's fetish turns sour

Dear Pastor,

I am in love with another woman's husband. He told me that he is not fertile and I found out that I am pregnant with his child. What am I going to do? I don't really want to have this child, and I do not believe in abortion.

Should I give this child up for adoption? Help me with your advice, please. Thank you.

Well, this man fooled you. Perhaps he wanted to impregnate you. Perhaps his wife has refused to have any more children so he turned to you for a child without telling you the truth. Of course you can give up the child for adoption but it has to be with his consent. If he does not accept paternity, it would be easier for you to give up the child for adoption.

I am sorry to know that you got involved with a married man. I wonder if you would not change your mind and keep this child after carrying the pregnancy for nine months. What a wonderful thing it would be if the Good Lord would give you the strength to keep the baby.
