Police hunt for woman's murderers

By Rasbert Turner, Star Writer

SPANISH TOWN

THE ST. CATHERINE North Homicide Unit is searching for the murderers of 51-year-old Erene Scott of Browns Hall district in the parish.

Reports are that about 6:45 p.m., on Tuesday, Scott, who lives with her daughter and is crippled from the waist down, was at home when her daughter left to purchase goods at a nearby shop.

Upon her return she saw her mother lying in blood on her bed with a big gash to the forehead. She made an alarm and the police were summoned.

Police have identified no suspects and have not established a motive for the killing.
