"Mi love music from mi a youth, so whenever mi go stage show an mi see a free mic, mi jus run pon di stage an do mi ting. From dat people start fi hear mi talent."

What challenges have you faced in the business so far?

"As a young artiste, it was hard, because most producers don't believe in young artiste. An since dem nuh waa tek risk wit dem money, it did hard fi get voiced."

Do you like the direction reggae and dancehall music is going?

"Definitely. Right now dancehall has become more musical and melody driven. U tune coulda lyrical caa dun, but if u don't have a good melody and flow to it, it na gu mek it. Mi hope dancehall go wider across di world an dem accept it like dem accept R&B and pop. I promise myself that I'll be one of the artistes dat tek dancehall to the next level."

Are you happy with the way things are going for your musical career?

"So far mi can't complain, give thanks to God. Could be better, but a mi a put in work, an mi afi big up mi fans fi di light whe dem as shine pon mi, 'cause a dem really mek mi. Big up di ghetto, di garrison, di uptown, global an local."

Anything you'd like to change about it?

"No. Lef di changes to God!"

Do you have any advice for young artistes coming up?

Try u best fi be lyrical, have original melody, an original flow. Don't try to be like people. Cum an stamp u name ina di industry wit music we sound good, an connect wit di people. An nu matter wah people a se 'cause 'music alone shall live' - a dat Jah se, suh jus keep busy, literally."
