Record shop is ablaze with four new rhythms
WITH SONGS ON three of the four rhythms in the Record Shop this week, dancehall act Turbulence is proving that it takes more than just talent to make it in the industry. Hard at work in the studios, the artiste has released Strive and Achieve, on the Revolution rhythm, I Am For The Poor, on the Black Woman rhythm, and Fade Away, on the Casta rhythm, all in the same week.
BLUE LAGOON MIXES RHYTHM
The Record Shop is ablaze this week with the Blue Lagoon Mixes rhythm from the Oprah House label, featuring a repertoire of top dancehall artistes, including Beenie Man, Bounty Killer, Sizzla, and T.O.K. Tracks on the rhythm include From Far, by Bounty Killer, Ready, by Beenie Man, Don't Diss, by Sizzla, Black Out, by T.O.K., Prowl, by Bling Dawg, Nuh Play Round, by Ward 21, War, by Buccaneer, and Bad Gal, by Red Rat.
BLACK WOMAN RHYTHM
From the Big Stone production label, comes Black Woman, a mellow rhythm complimented with a good selection of vocalists. Songs on the rhythm include Every Man's Right,' by George Nooks and All I Vision Of' by Richie Spice.
CASTA RHYTHM
The Zarek label has released the Casta rhythm, showcasing the return of reggae vocalist Tanya Stephens and Morgan Heritage. Songs on the rhythm include Tempting Me, by T.O.K., Everywhere We Go, by Nicky B and Manner Of Man, by Morgan Heritage.
REVOLUTION RHYTHM
Dreams Entertainment has released a vibrant new rhythm called Revolution, featuring I-Wayne, George Nooks, and the fireman, Capleton. The tracks include Touch Me Softly, by I-Wayne, Without You, by Jah Mason, Rise Dem Up by Capleton and Only A Matter Of Time by George Nooks.
