I want him out of my house and life

Dear Pastor,

I have been living with my son's father for the past year. I found out on my birthday last year that he has been cheating on me. I forgave him and things were going well until I found out recently that he is still cheating. He lies constantly and his family covers for him.

I am a very hard working person who holds down a full time job and attends school full time. I have tried to get him to move out of my house but he will not budge. He threatened to report my family to the city council because the apartment we live in is considered illegal. I feel like the world is on my shoulders. Please pray for me so that I can have some guidance and get this loser out of my life.

S.G., USA

Dear S. G.,

Try and get another apartment and leave him stranded. That might be hard to do because you are a student. However, there are many ways to deal with this man.

Perhaps you should try and find a single woman who would share a two bedroom with you and split the rent.

If you own the apartment which you live and he is not contributing to anything, pack his clothes and ask him to leave. If he refuses to do so, seek the help of an attorney- at-law.
