SEVEN SCHOOLS LED by defending champions Glenmuir High will be seeking to maintain their perfect starts as the ISSA Pepsi/JN daCosta Cup schoolboys' football competition continues tomorrow with 20 games.
Grange Hill in Zone B, Godfrey Stewart and Black River High in Zone C, surprise team Denbigh in Zone H, Glenmuir, Old Harbour in Zone J and Port Antonio High in Zone L (a) are unbeaten so far.
Cedric Titus will be seeking their fourth win on the trot while Titchfield High will try again to get their season under way after their first game on Saturday was rained out.
Meanwhile in action from yesterday, former champions Cornwall College bounced back from Saturday's embarrassing loss to Anchovy High to crush debutants Irwin High 10-0, the biggest margin of victory in the competition so far.
Richard Edmonson led the way with four goals for Cornwall as substitute Nakia Atkinson grabbed a hat-trick, captain Omroy Wilson two and Naraldo Oates had the other.
Edmonson who scored in the 9th, 16th, 22nd and 77th minutes took over the lead in the goal scoring tables with six, one more than Glenmuir's marksman Carnell Learmond and Davian Green of Ocho Rios High.
The win also gives Cornwall temporary lead in Zone A, on goal difference over William Knibb who will meet Herbert Morrison in a key game in Montego Bay this afternoon. Cornwall and William Knibb are on nine points each, followed by Muschett, Herbert Morrison and St. James High all on six points each.
Alroy Dell also scored four times to lead Islington to a 4-0 win over Tacky High in Zone K as they moved into joint second place behind Annotto Bay who were 2-1 winners over St Mary High.
Cedric Titus maintained their lead in Zone D with a 5-0 win over Ferncourt as Damain Williams scored twice to lead them to their third win in a row.
