By ANALEE BERNARD, STAR Writer

ST. ELIZABETH

DWAYNE SCOTT, 20, a clerk employed to the Inland Revenue Department in Black River was shot dead at his home at Lovers Lane, New Town, in the capital at about 5:30 p.m. on Monday.

It is reported that Scott and his father came home and while his father was closing the gate, a man jumped the wall and fired two shots, hitting Scott in the head.

The gunman then walked from the house to a cream Toyota motor car which picked him up and sped away.

Scott was rushed to the Black River Hospital where he died.

No motive has been established for the killing.
