DEAR PASTOR,
I am thirty years old and I have a problem. I am in love with two guys. One lives in Florida and the other in Jamaica, but the one in Florida has a girlfriend. He and I are always together or talking on the phone. He says he loves me and he does not want us to stop talking. We have sex on a regular basis, but he won't leave his girlfriend for me.
As for the one in Jamaica, well, let us just say when I am there in Jamaica, we are a couple. This guy treats me like a queen and shows me more affection than the one that lives in Florida, but I can't let him go because he makes me feel good inside.
What should I do?
M. M., Florida
Dear M.M.,
The relationship that you have in Florida is purely sexual. There is no future with this man. You know he is not going to leave this woman for you, but you are hanging on because he makes you feel good. If that is all you want out of a relationship, you don't have to complain, you are already having it.
If you prefer this man who lives in Florida, why fool the man who is living in Jamaica?
He treats you well whenever you are in Jamaica. I doubt very much that you have told him that you have another man in Florida. Would you like to get married? If you would, stop playing around.
Pastor
