How did you get started in the business?

"Well a whole heap a tings lead to my start inna di business, but mi use to guh weh sound system a play from mi a yout, and when mi move come a Kingston, mi use to perform wid some likkle sound. Den a really Ninjaman si mi an introduce mi to Fatis an from deh suh it start."

What has been your greatest challenge in the business yet?

"Well, di whole issue of the cancellation of wi events, cause in America, wi had about 30 concerts, but they successfully cancelled bout three or four. Mi have bout eight cancellations in France and Belgium alone, but this only makes me more determined."

What have you been up to lately?

"Recently finished a Europe tour and Canada. I'm always recording, always performing and con-tributing to the community, especially the elders. Wi also looking forward to Africa in the coming year. I've never been there."

Do you look up to any specific artiste?

"Bob Marley an di whole a di man dem weh set it. Burning Spear, Gimmie Back Di Shilling, a dem tune deh wi grow up pon."

Are you happy with the way things are going for your musical career right now?

"Yea man. Mi always feel good, an when mi guh out there di love weh wi get. Di music bring forth joy an di people dem embrace it."

Do you have any advice for young artistes coming up?

"Strong determination, diligence, humility and tolerance. Di hype ting, don't ever get too hype, give thanks fi di icons dem and pioneers who pave di way."

Where do you see your career in the future?

"My contribution to di music is fi get di studio and label going and get young artistes out there. Music an di community, anything fi uplift di people, a deh suh it deh."
