Voice Mail has become a staple of dancehall culture in recent months. The trio, Craig, Oneil and Kevin, are featured on almost every major show this summer, a testament to the group's popularity.
To capitalise on that popularity, and to give fans a long-awaited chance of owning a sample of 'Voice Mail', the group is set to release a new album.
Package phase
"Well firstly, the album is finished so is just to package it. That's one of the main things we trying to focus on right now. Trying to be constant in what we are doing, trying to stay current and sharp in what we doing," says Oneil.
The album, named after the group's intro, 'Hayee' will feature some of Voice Mail's more popular tracks as well as lots of new material.
The group credits the input of many of dancehall music's producers for working on their unique sound.
"First and foremost Danny Champagne, Christopher Birch, Nigel Staff, Big Yard, The Ballaz, Don Corleone, Tony Kelly, Skatta and others like Renaissance and Lenky are who we work with," said Oniel.
