Ex-boyfriend still on my mind

Dear Pastor,

I live in the United States. I left my boyfriend for another guy and I got pregnant by this guy. He and I now live together. I love this new guy but I can't get over my ex-boyfriend, and he wants me back regardless.

I don't know what to do, please help me.

Dear B,

You left your former boyfriend to go to another man who impregnated you. In my opinion you should stick with this new man. He is the father of the child you are carrying and you have not said that he is abusing you in any way. You must have reasons for ending the relationship with your ex- boyfriend. Why would you listen to what he is saying now? Why would you want to return to him?

Not a toy

The baby you are carrying is not a toy, and it is time for you to realise that when you have become a mother you cannot think of yourself only. You have to think of your child. Whatever feelings you may have for your ex-boyfriend, bring them under control and tell him that you cannot return to him and if he truly loves you he should leave you alone and wish you well.
