Two lives lost in deadly dispute

TWO MEN ARE now dead following a dispute which lead to both of them being murdered in James Mountain, Sligoville, St. Catherine on Friday night.

They are 23-year-old Garfield 'Bustie' Murdock of Fullan Park and Warren Ricardo O'Connor, 28, both of Top Hill district, St. Catherine.

According to police reports, at about 10:15 pm, Murdock and O'Connor were involved in a dispute. During the dispute O'Connor reportedly used a knife to stab Murdock. He was taken to hospital where he died whilst undergoing treatment.

O'Connor, who fled the scene shortly after Murdock was pronounced dead, was later seen and chased by an angry mob of residents who chopped him several times killing him on the spot.

The police were summoned and the body removed to the morgue for post mortem. The Spanish Town Police are investigating.
