Ex-prisoner's body found

SANTA CRUZ

THE BODY OF a man was found behind the Santa Cruz Fire Station, along Pagon Drive, in St. Elizabeth yesterday.

It was discovered by a fireman who was on his way to work at around 6:58 a.m.

Body identified

The body, which was clad in a brown vest and blue pants, has been identified as that of Uroy Dockery, a labourer in his 40s, of Barton District in the parish.

The police said it is believed that the man died as a result of an epileptic attack as he was found with his hands clutched around the rim of a 100-pound gas cylinder.

THE STAR was also informed that the deceased was recently released from prison.

The Santa Cruz police are investigating.
