Foota Hype gets 'FULLY LOADED'

Selector Foota Hype was reportedly assaulted at Fully Loaded held on Sunday Night at the James Bond Beach Oracabessa, St Mary. - file

SELECTOR FOOTA HYPE was reportedly beaten during a scuffle with security personnel at the Fully Loaded stage show held at the James Bond Beach in Oracabessa, St Mary on Sunday night.

Foota was involved in the reported bust-up after security reportedly prevented him from driving inside the venue, even though he was billed to perform at the event.

"It just start because people just a hype," stated Foota when confirming the incident yesterday.

Too much Corolla

Foota said that he was billed to perform, but was prevented from driving inside like other performers before him.

"I was simply explaining to them that the Corolla can't stay outside the show cause dem will tief it.

One fly up and seh yu no see how much Corolla outside, and how no space inside, even though them just let in a Benz," he explained.

"Mi never have no armband, so mi tell him go pon the radio and call the promoter cause dem know me, and I was supposed to be on the show, but is just pure attitude. Him seh him no have no radio, and a next one just come and seh move, back weh, cause a kill we kill people. Him lift up him T-shirt and show me him gun same time."

Foota noted that at this point he watched things boil from harmless to serious in a split second.

"Mi tell him seh weh him a pop off gun for, if a shoot him a go shoot me. The rest of dem come down and start defend dem colleague now. One of my colleague dem now get upset and dem start argue, him just kick down the gate pon the car, kick the car door pon a girl foot, and dem pull dem gun so me start walk weh while some a mi fren dem run."

'Him kick me'

By this time Foota said, the licks started being thrown around.

"Him kick me and mi hold him foot and flick him down and the gun drop. Another one jump cross wid a two by four and start fi beat we, and bout six a dem correll we wid gun now, but a next one drape we and seh don't lick him and cool it off."

Foota said that he got a few bruises in the fistcuff and lost a US$600 earring in the process. He added that he has not yet reported it to police, but plans to do so because he was threatened. His concern now was to speak with the promoter Sharon Burke to sort things out amicably.

"At the end of the day, nobody no dead, nobody get hurt, but we know Sharon, and we need fi talk bout it, because him threaten mi, and we caa tek that lightly. We need fi know who do it. Mi no want it go too far inna court and all a that. We just waa sort it out cause mi no hear from her yet."

The show's promoter Sharon Burke could not be reached for comment yesterday, as calls to her Solid Agency offices and to her mobile phone remained unanswered.
