THREE MEN HAVE been held in connection with the seizure of 98 kilograms of ganja in St. Mary on Friday night.
The men, whose identities had not been released up to press time, were held during a Kingfish operation.
The St. Mary police report that about 10:00 pm an operation was carried out in the Annotto Bay area by members of the Narcotics Division and the Jamaica Defence Force. A boat, believed to be destined for Haiti, was searched and the ganja was found. The men who were said to be on the boat were held in connection with the seizure.
The Narcotics Police are investigating.
