Not a change for the better
THE EDITOR, Madam: The report by the Associated Press recently about declining figures of American movie-goers at cinemas is not surprising, especially after the 9/11 attacks. The attacks have changed the way people entertain themselves in today's world, which means Hollywood's movie industry should also change to suit this safer-option'Home Entertainment'. The movie going public prefer the convenience of watching a movie on DVD and videos in their own home, especially the directors cut and commentary on the making of the film. I am, etc., BALDWIN COLLINS St.Elizabeth
