Disgusting impersonators

THE EDITOR, Madam:

The persons going around impersonating high profile female police officers can easily be termed as disgusting. It is only the most unfortunate sinister persons within our society, who can resort to unseemly tactics like these.

Miss Novlette Grant, Mrs. Jevene Bent and Mrs. Ionie Ramsay-Nelson are the chief persons whose reputations these persons are hoping to tarnish. These persons are cruel because these ladies, from my knowledge, are incredibly pure in their intention in the serving of the Jamaican people.

It's a cause for alarm for persons in our society who are aware of the tremendous sacrifices of these ladies. They have had to create a Jamaica with love and prosperity. Police officers must keep their eyes open to unfold the truth about this con artist.

The Police should not be perturbed by these occurrences and continue to be resilient in their search to fulfill the mandate presented for the people. Many male police officers are disliked by small portion of the wider public, chiefly those who are not willing to abide by the laws of the land. We must be strong in order to subdue the atrocities of this con artist. We must work in collaboration with the police to get rid of this person?

I think that those who try to swindle and dope persons of their material things are using the frank statements made by Commissioner of Police Lucius Thomas. This is when the Commissioner said high profile police officers are also involved in illicit activities. This person is feeding on the loophole that is left, to establish her criminal intent.

To cast public mistrust on these female officers is unfortunate. It is their ultimate desire to see the force go down and gain the reputation of a failed state. The people will be convinced the police in the Jamaica Constabulary Force are corrupt in all quarters, if people could believe lies. This is a timely ploy to destroy the already dignified female police enforcers.

Mrs. Ionie Ramsay- Nelson, Ms. Jevene Bent and Miss Novlette Grant epitomize excellence for their no-nonsense approach for the preservation of justice. Don't be fooled by people's undesirable appetite for hate among the evil ones. Be resilient ladies and continue to serve and protect.
