From triplets to twins

spalding clarendon:

WHEN KADEEN MUSCHETTE, 20, gave birth to triplets at the Mandeville Public Hospital on March 4 this year, it was the biggest shock in her young life. She was not aware that she would have three babies, as an ultrasound showed she would have twins.

Muschette, from Lincoln, Manchester, said Kyle, the only boy, Khylia and Kemisha, were born in that order. "The ultrasound showed two girls and we were not aware a third child was there until I was giving birth. Kemisha was hidden behind the other two," said the mother.

Muschette's mother, Joy Mattis, who was present at the birth of her grandchildren, explained that when Kadeen gave birth to the first-born Kyle, the doctor discovered that Kadeen had to do a Caesarean section to deliver Khylia. It was after the operation that the third baby was discovered.

Unfortunately for the young mother, five days later she lost Khylia, who had a breach delivery. Mattis said she was told by the doctor that she would not have lived for long as the baby had to be delivered in such a way in order to save the life of Kadeen.

Kadeen, now happy with the two remaining babies, was in very good health while pregnant. She has a twin sister but is the only one in her family to have triplets. She pointed out that she gave birth to a son (Adrian) prior to having the triplets and so she still has three children to look after.

Kadeen made it clear that she had no intention of having any more children as life for her and her kids is very difficult. Mattis said anyone wanting to help her daughter with her children can call her at 323-6915.
