JAMAICAN HURDLERS GREGORY Little and Vonette Dixon were second places finishers at Sunday's 'Sport Solidarietà' International Meeting in Lignano Sabbiadoro, Italy.
Little, the 2003 Central America and Caribbean (CAC) Championships gold medallist, was second in the 400-metre hurdles in 49.98.
Dipping under the 50-second barrier for the third time in his career, Little, the national junior record holder, finished behind Okkert Cilliers of South Africa (49.09).
Commonwealth Games silver medallist Dixon was second in the women's 100-metre hurdles in 12.92 seconds.
Dixon was second behind the United States' Kirkland Anajnette, who won in 12.85.
Two other Jamaicans, Nadine Faustin-Parker (13.12) and Andrea Bliss (13.16), were fourth and fifth respectively.
Patrick Jarrett was third in the men's event in 10.35. He finished behind the American duo of Tyson Gay and Ray Edwards, who had identical times of 10.30 seconds respectively. Gay was awarded the event.
Winston Smith, who represented Jamaica at last year's Olympic Games, was fourth in 10.53 seconds.
