By RASBERT TURNER, STAR Writer

THE WATERFORD POLICE in Portmore, St. Catherine, are now looking for a security guard, who apparently made off with more than $360,000 after he was sent to collect the money.

It is reported that about 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, two security guards employed to Prime Guard Security Company, went to the National Commercial Bank branch in Portmore. Three hundred and sixty thousand dollars was first taken to the courier van.

The other guard went back in the bank for some documents, when he returned he found that his colleague had driven away the white Toyota Hiace bus with the money.

A report was lodged to the police who are carrying out investigation.

The police have withheld the name of the guard in question, as they say it is critical to their investigation.
