Common-law wife charged with strangulation

AN 18-YEAR-OLD woman has been charged with the murder of Bryan Ebanks, a 48-year-old rail operator of Ballards Valley, in St. Elizabeth.

Shepheen Sinclair, Bryan?s unemployed common-law wife of the same district, was charged last week after a post-mortem revealed that he had been strangled.

Allegation are that on Monday, July 4 at about 3:30 p.m., the couple had a domestic dispute. It is alleged that Sinclair, held Ebanks around the neck until he became unconscious. He was rushed to a doctor in Junction where he was pronounced dead.

Sinclair who was taken into custody, was charged after the post-mortem held on last Tuesday, revealed that he was strangled She is booked to appear in the Black River Resident Magistrates Court on Friday.
