Dear Pastor,
Let me congratulate you on your wonderful work.
I am a Christian who is 32 years old and my wife is in her early 20s. I would like to know the moral principles that surround oral sex.
Is it an ideal thing for Christians to participate in? Should we as Christians indulge in such practices?
My wife has mentioned it to me twice, but I refused. I don't think it is right. I am not comfortable with it. Sex has been great for the seven years we have been married. What does the Bible say about it? I live in England and await your urgent reply. Thank you very much

Dear I.F.,
The Bible does not give the answer to everything. The Bible is silent about oral sex. There is not even a hint or a passing remark about it in the Bible. Counsellors differ on the matter. Some encourage couples to practice it, while others discourage it.
Whenever the Bible is silent on a matter, I am silent. I cannot be dogmatic in my answer or whatever comment I may make. If you are not comfortable in doing oral sex, your wife should not force you.
There are so many other things a couple can do to create 'fire' in the bedroom or wherever they make love.
