Two bodies found along rail track

THE BODIES OF two men were discovered along the railway track near the Toll Road in Duncans Pen, St. Catherine, yesterday. The dead men have been identified as Patrick Bailey, 35, and Shane Gordon, 26, both of New Nursery district in the parish.

Reports reaching THE STAR are that at about 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, both men left their homes to purchase film to be used in cameras, and were never seen alive again.

The police report that at about 6:00 a.m. yesterday, they received a call from a resident who stumbled upon the men's bodies, which had numerous gunshot wounds.

The police have not established any motives in the killing of these two men. However, when THE STAR visited the New Nursery area, several persons expressed sadness at the killing of the men.

The killing brings to 119, the number of persons killed in the St. Catherine North Division since the start of the year.
