Elderly woman killed by motor car

A 78-YEAR-OLD woman was killed yesterday morning after she was hit by a motor car while crossing the Ewarton main road in St. Catherine.

She has been identified as Beatrice Morris of Waterloo district in the parish. Police reports are that Morris was crossing the road when she was hit by a Toyota Corolla motor car registered PC 0874.

She sustained multiple injuries and was taken to the Linstead Hospital where she was pronounced dead.

The Ewarton Police are investigating.
