Show 'em the money - Harbour View a win away

By PAUL-ANDRE WALKER, Staff Reporter

Village United's Garfield Jackson attempts to regain his balance while Tivoli Garden's Christopher Nicholas, Ian Mcanuff and Davien Laing look on. Tivoli won the Premier League match 4-0 courtesy of Nicholas, who scored all four goals at the Edward Seaga Stadium. - JUNIOR DOWIE

HARBOUR VIEW ARE A win away from the Premier League's million-dollar bonus after beating Reno 1-0 at Compound last night.

The Stars of the East moved to 71 points at the top of the table, three ahead of Waterhouse, who whipped Invaders 4-0.

Harbour View moved to 71 points, ensuring they cannot be surpassed if they win their final game against Rivoli on Sunday.

Waterhouse intensified the battle of the league's best, moving to 67 points with a game in hand.

Kevin Lamey netted a hat-trick and Roberto Fletcher rounded off the big win.

Lovell Palmer was the man on the scoresheet for the 'Stars of the East' . Akeem Priestly missed a penalty for 10-man Harbour View, whose Luton Shelton was ejected on two yellow cards.

Tivoli Gardens, who were pushed out of the million-dollar race with Harbour View's win, were also big winners, thrashing Village United 4-0 at the Edward Seaga Stadium.

Christopher Nicholas notched up all the goals in that game to remain the league's leading scorer ahead of Lamey.

Tivoli remain in second place with 67 points. They can only get to 70 points with one game to go against Waterhouse.

Portmore United bounced back to winning ways, albeit too late, with a 2-0 win over Arlington.

Roen Nelson, who has been injured for most of this season, found his way back on to the scoresheet.

For Arlington, the loss was grave as it means that after holding on to a slim mathematical chance of jumping out of the relegation zone, they are now doomed to the St. Catherine Super League.
