Four sought in cops' murders

THE POLICE ARE seeking four men from Tivoli Gardens in connection with the murders of Inspector Lascelles Walsh and District Constable Canute Brown on May 4.

The four men are Christopher Miller also known as 'Nunu Puss' and three men whose names were given only as 'Harry Dog', 'Itis' and 'Rudi'.

The police are asking anyone with information as to the whereabouts of these men to contact Kingfish, Crime Stop or the nearest police station.

Inspector Walsh and District Constable Brown were two of three policemen who were attacked by gunmen between May 3 and May 4. District Constable Brown was shot in front of the Cross Roads Police station during a drive-by shooting at the station.

Hours later Inspector Walsh was shot dead at the intersection of Harbour and Church streets in downtown Kingston while riding to work on his motorcycle.
