Ex-boyfriend wants me to return

Dear Pastor,

I am 17 and I am having lots of problems. First of all, I am an orphan. I had a boyfriend in 2003 and we broke up in 2004.

We still talk to each other, but he is now telling me that he wants things to go back to the way they were. Yet, he is cheating on his girlfriend with me.

I went to Jamaica recently and the guy that I used to talk to when I was there wants us to get back together. I know he really loves me. He told me several times before that I am his heartbeat.

During my visit, I met this other guy that I really like, but I know he is not the right guy for me because he has lots of other girls. He also has a daughter. Now I am confused, and I don't know what to do.

Why don't you give all these guys a break. You are only 17 and evidently all these guys just want to get you into bed. Give yourself sometime.

You don't have to have an intimate boyfriend right now.

All these guys that want to have you are involved with other women, so keep out of their way.

They may fool you. They will tell you anything to get you to go to bed with them.
