Dear Pastor,
I am having a lot of problems in school and at home with my parents. My grades are really bad, and I have been having a very bad attitude towards everyone that comes in contact with me.
My mother and step-father have been trying to help me a lot. I was just put on probation and I need some guidance. I have already made the effort to actually try and get the work from my teachers so that I can get passing grades. They say that they will help me as long as I meet them half way and show them that I am willing to do the work assigned.
Help me
Pastor, all I need is someone to help me, someone to talk to and give me advice that may be better than the advice that I have already received.
Thank you for your time. God bless!

Dear J.C.,
I must begin by congratulating you for recognising that you have a problem and for making efforts to change your attitude and to do your work. I am pleased that you have not said anything negative about your parents and your teachers. You are willing to take the wrong and to do better.
You know my dear, when teachers see that their students are willing to work or are trying to understand what they have been taught, they go the extra mile in helping them. So, whenever you are given assignments, try to do them and hand them in on time. Spend more time on the subjects that give you trouble. Some teachers even give students their numbers that they can call them when they are having problems. Never give up. Remember your grades will follow you for life so put your past mistakes behind you and try your very best to do well.
