WHILE SINGER SPANNER Banner recently signed an official contract with the Fifth Element Label, the label's former member Chuck Fender is moving on with his life since being dropped.
Chuck Fender told THE STAR this week that he will continue to record his music and keep doing as many stage shows as possible.
He told THE STAR that he has not sought anyone to handle his career yet but that people should be focusing on the messages in his music rather than on his management issues.
More recording
"Right now, what I have been up to is just more recordings as usual, more shows fi do, so mi can defend the poor and have-nots," he stated earlier this week.
"People must listen to the music and wha mi a seh bout righteousness and bout the crime, cause management is allright, and a music we just a do," he added.
Though sketchy with details he noted that he was contacted by the label's boss recently.
"I got a call from the boss, Devon Wheatley. Him call and we hold a reasoning bout everything, and everything good with us. Mi no have nothing bad fi seh," Fender continued.
Pressed if the call may mean his return to the Fifth Element camp, Fender refused to say whether or not he thought so. He only stressed that the public should focus on the message, not on the messenger.
"I won't say, but right now I am just working for the people dem, a dem alone mi a work for. Them must listen to the tunes and not worry bout that cause a dem mi a do this for," he noted.
