How did you get started in the business?

"Well I started playing a role as in just singing, as a growing youth it was a hobby, I used to hang out at King Jammy's, and King Jammy's happen to live three doors down the road from me. From that now we start meet artistes like Elephant, Killer and things start getting bigger."

What challenges have you faced in the business yet?

"Making a name for yourself, establishing a name. You have to prove a lot. One song or a punch line don't do that. It is just consistency."

Most memorable moment:

"When me and Bounty Killer voice a song, 'When the Smoke Clears'."

Most Embarrassing moment:

"When Mikey Bennett say me caan sing and him laugh after me and say me need some voice training but that was before me establish myself."

Hobbies:

"Football, Playstation, everything else would be music-related, touching the road and going out, kick back with some friends. Through we young life caan boring, it haffi exciting."

Do you like the direction reggae and dancehall music is going?

"Yeah man! Definitely and being one of the youth on top of the game, I see myself a big part of that, myself and Sean Paul, Sizzla. Bounty have a lot of things gonna mash up the place internationally and locally."

What have you been up to lately?

"Kinda a take it easy, you nuh take time out... right now me a aim to find myself, find some concept, find some strategy, me a look at the music from a bird's eye view. We have a whole heap a singles coming out; we a go bombard the place. Right now I'm voicing, setting up some videos, part three for me and Tami and a whole heap a videos for the summer."

Are you happy with the way things are going for your musical career right now?

"Definitely! I'm growing. Nowadays when I listen to myself back then, my ears hurt... now I know more about keys and delivery. I keep on growing and it's not just the musical element have to grow, you haffi talk bout serious aspect of music."

Anything you'd like to change about it?

"No. I feel everything happen in time... nah rush nutten... I'm just building up to be that ultimate artiste that I can be."

What are your future plans?

"Musically I want to build a production house. I want to be behind the scene to harness and nurture young talents. I want to use that and become a professional at it one day. I have a eye to see talent, can't expect to jump up on stage all my days."
