'Chin up' to abused young woman

Dear Pastor,

I am responding to a letter entitled 'Never Ending Sexual Abuse,' which appeared in THE STAR on February 21, 2005. I read the article and wonder, do these things really happen? When I finished reading this letter the spirit moved within me and said to me that the Lord is going to bless this young lady.

She is to give God all the glory and all the praise. I liked your advice to her and I am just confirming that God is not through with her as yet. Just keep on trusting him.

In the book of Genesis, Joseph told his brother that what they meant for evil, God meant it for good.

I want to encourage this young lady to keep on telling her story. There are a lot of persons who need to hear her testimony.

Continue to give sound advice and may God continue to bless you.
