I was abused too

Dear Pastor,

This letter is relating to the girl who was sexually abused by her family member.

I think anyone who sexually abuses children, or any person for that matter, is sick and they should not be around other people. I, too, was sexually abused and I didn't tell anybody.

I am 34 years old, and I don't know how I lost my virginity. When I was sleeping at my first boyfriend's house, I told him that he was my first but he did not believe me.

I guess something happened but I can't remember.

Pastor, please pray for her and anyone who has ever been in that situation. May God bless you and keep you safe.

Dear L. F,

I am sorry to know that you, too, were sexually abused. If you have never gone for therapy, I would suggest that you do so now.

What happened to you is still bothering you, and you need to open up to someone who you can trust, so a professional would be the right person to speak to.

I constantly pray for those who write to me, and I ask others to bear them up in prayer too.
