Hard to forgive and forget

Dear Pastor,

My girlfriend and I have been together for 12 months. For 6 months I have cheated on her. She found out and forgave me. We promised that we would forget the past, but she keeps bringing it up.

How can we move on?

Your girlfriend does not believe that you have stopped cheating and it is going to take a long time for her to have confidence in you. She has not forgiven you for what you have done. She is not a robot and you should not expect her never to mention the past. She is still suspicious of you. Go easy on your girlfriend.
