Constant joint pains

Dear Pastor,

I am tired of feeling pain in my joints. My doctor ran a lot of tests on me and they all came back normal. I don't know what to do next. I pray to the Lord because I have faith, but I still go to bed in pain and wake up with pain. I have not had a good night's sleep since it began in September.

I even have an eight-year-old who I cannot assist with her homework. It makes me feel sad. I don't know if I should just give up. I am getting weak in my knees and my fingers don't work well.

I had surgery on one hand and it did not seem to help much but still I am going to do the other hand. A friend asked me if I was sure that someone did not do something to me.

S. S., Toronto, Canada

Dear S. S,

Don't listen to the foolishness your friend is trying to suggest to you. Follow the advice of your doctor. I am really sorry that you are not doing well physically. I trust God will help you. He still heals. Trust in Him.
